The Department of Sanskrit, Government College (Autonomous), Rajahmundry celebrated Kalidasa Jayanti Today i.e on 25-11-2013. Dr Prabhaola Subrahmanya Sarma an eminent Sanskrit scholar attended the function as chief guest and delivered an excellent speech on the works of Kalidasa. He also explained the need of preserving the Indian culture. Sri Ramesh babu, Vice Principal presided over the function. Dr R V Kameswara Sarma , In Charge of the dept presented a brief report of the activities of the Dept of Sanskrit. Dr Gowtam, Sri P H Ram prasad, Sri S. Purushottam, Dr P.Sri Valli and many other lecturers from various depts have participated in the function.
